Upper East Side

It’s no secret that the Upper East Side is New York City’s most affluent neighborhood. One walk down Madison Avenue, featuring high end stores such as Chanel and Prada support this notion. On the western borders of this neighborhood lies Central Park. The park alone offers a zoo, skating rink, running and hiking trails, high end dining, and of course, its most distinguishing feature is the picturesque greenery it provides in the middle of a concrete urban setting. Although the parks activities are more than enough to keep any New Yorker busy, the Upper East Side is also home to Museum Mile, a cultural landmark in the city. It includes the world famous Metropolitan Museum of Art and Guggenheim Museum, just to name a few. The Upper East Side is also abundant with pre-war buildings and townhouses. Fifth Avenue is almost exclusively residential, and with desirable park facing apartments, it is home to many famous New Yorkers.
