Morningside Heights
Often considered a sub-neighborhood of Harlem or the Upper West Side, Morningside Heights is a small NYC village nestled in between 106th st and 123rd St from Riverside Park along the Hudson River to Morningside Park at Manhattan Ave. The neighborhood is alternately know as the “Academic Acroplis” because of the large number of major educational institutions such as Columbia University, Barnard College, Manhattan School of Music and more.
Perched atop the bluffs of Morningside Heights, the highest physical point in Manhattan, one can take in breathtaking views of the Hudson River and upper Manhattan. Highlights: The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, Old Era Buildings on Riverside Drive
