Battery Park City
Built on landfill from the dirt and rock excavated when the World Trade Towers were built in the 1970s, Battery Park City is a thriving residential community undergoing major development. Notable construction includes various eco-friendly development projects and multiple luxury high-rises.
Named for the adjacent Battery Park and located along the southern tip of the island of Manhattan, BPC features an abundance of beautiful, quiet outdoor spaces with views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It’s clear there is a very strong sense of community in one of NYC’s newest and still developing neighborhoods. Highlights: BPC’s many parks and memorials.
