What are all of these colored shapes?
They're NYC neighborhoods, of course. Each one has its own identity, even when their names are combined in witty abbreviations like BoCoCa, DoBro, and NoLita. Neighborhood boundaries are often disputed, but we did our best to compile map information from many different places in hopes of making everyone happy. Click on any one of the shapes to view a photo slideshow, find links to interesting articles, and get an idea of what living in the area is like.
