Originally from Malaysia, Mae moved to Montreal earned her degree in Restaurant Management from LaSalle College. She lived there many years building a reputation as a successful restaurateur with two establishments, and honing her skills as a sushi chef. Prior to entering real estate, she spent a year in Israel as part of the opening team who brought Sushi Samba to Tel Aviv.

Mae’s years in the restaurant business also nurtured her passion for real estate and her high level of interest, dedication, integrity and enthusiasm caught the eye of her peers in the real estate community for whom she orchestrated exceptional parties as a freelance event coordinator. She worked for two years at a new development, in Long Island City, where her responsibilities grew from managing the office to coordinating with contractors and clients. She loved spending time in the area, and watching it grows. Mae then joined The Corcoran Group, where she gained invaluable knowledge of, and experience in, the New York City real estate market. Mae left her heart in LIC however, and she is thrilled to be working for Modern Spaces, and back in the neighborhood she knows well.
