Bari Lynn joined Modern Spaces as a Licensed Sales Agent specializing in High-End Luxury Residential Sales in Chelsea, Meatpacking and other downtown neighborhoods. A 24-year resident of Chelsea she has witnessed its transformation into one of the most sought after residential real estate areas in New York City.

Bari came to Modern Spaces with over two decades of experience in the Luxury Interior Design industry. She began her career at In Fashion Magazine and held the position of Fashion and Beauty Director coordinating and executing fashion shoots. Following In Fashion Magazine she was hired as the Creative Director for Conde Nast’s Self Magazine.

Always ready for a challenge, Bari started her own manufacturing company for fine home decorative accessories called Bari and Andrew at Home, Inc. in 1991, her first shop was based in Bergdorf Goodman. In the late ‘90s Bari became the first-ever Home Design Correspondent for Good Morning America where she provided D.I.Y tips and tricks of the trade to viewers. Simultaneously, she was also the Home Design and Entertaining Contributor to several programs for the Food Network.

During this time Bari became a published author with the launch of her first design book with Harper Collins named Eclectic Living for which she wrote and produced the photography. The book was published in 1998 and is based on easy yet chic ways to create home design ideas inspired by Bari’s treasured journeys to over 34 countries. In 2001 she landed her very own TV show on HGTV called Defining Style with Bari Lynn, which became a celebrity driven design show where she interviewed celebrities on their personal home design point of view and together created unique design tips for the home viewer. In 2002, Bari founded Bari Lynn at Home, Inc., a Luxury Based Interior Design firm.

Now, as an Agent first and Interior Design Expert second, Bari is well equipped and truly enjoys helping her clients see and understand the future potential and grand possibility of what could be for their new home, a quality that her clients find very comforting and helpful while on the search for the perfect new home.

Bari is a passionate supporter of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) and 15 years ago she was instrumental in the launch of the famed “Super Saturday” in the Hamptons.
